Tanya Jean Peterson Bio
Tanya was born in Oakville, Ontario in 1983 and spent her childhood growing up in the beautiful town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. With a cultural centre as her back drop, Tanya was able to draw from her own creativity at an early age. Embracing a close relationship with fine arts she soon developed a style of her own. Graduating from the Toronto School of Fine Art, and experimenting with a large variety of subjects and materials, Tanya has received numerous accolades for her commission pieces.
As she focuses mainly on oil paintings and sculpture, she challenges herself by pushing towards new heights of expression.
Having moved back to her home town after extensive traveling abroad, there will be endless inspiration for many years to come.
Tanya would like to express her deepest appreciation to her patrons who have believed in her, and now to see her work reproduced on fine giclée canvases and paper is truly a dream come true.
